Three Stellar shapes at three price points — and the friendliest-looking evaluation rules in the dataset, paired with a funded-stage news rule that discounts exactly the profit a news trader makes.
Facts checked October 22, 2026
FundedNext's Stellar line is the value shelf of CFD challenges: a 2-Step (8% then 5%, no consistency rule at evaluation), a 1-Step (10% target, tighter 6% maximum loss), and the cheaper Lite (8% then 4%, 8% maximum loss). The 2-Step's lack of an evaluation consistency rule is real and is the exception that proves why this site checks style per program, not per brand.
Once funded, only 40% of profit made within 5 minutes of a high-impact news release counts. Nothing in the evaluation warns you: the evaluation is unrestricted, the job discounts your best minutes by 60%. If your edge is trading releases, the checker will show this as the program's most expensive line.
On the 2-Step the fee comes back with the first eligible payout. On the 1-Step and Lite it comes back only at the third payout — two successful payout cycles stand between you and your own ticket money, a detail that belongs in the cost column, not the marketing column.
